The 100 hectare vineyard, which is planted with the original grape varieties, lies in the commune of Sauternes, between the church steeple in the village and the vines that belong to Ch?teau d’Yquem. The estate is one of the few in France to have created a vine conservatory. Faithful to its pioneering spirit, it became the first of thepremiers crus class?s of 1855 to receive the Organic Certification in 2011.
